Funto Akinkugbe is a Non-Executive Director heading the Special Projects Unit of WALTER Consult.  Funto Holds a Degree in Architecture from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in United Kingdom.  He worked initially as an IT Training Consultant before moving into the recruitment industry where he specialised in IT placements. Between 1996 & 1998, he went on to set up a recruitment consultancy specialising in IT placements in Africa and Europe.

With the increase in international investment in Africa in the areas of Oil and Gas Banking and Finance, IT and Telecom, came the clamour for skilled professionals. To satisfy this need, he co-founded FindaJobinAfrica.com – a platform that facilitates the connection between recruitment agencies and employers with job seekers wherever located. FindaJobinAfrica.com is a leading employment website in Africa which records over 2.1 million hits a month and advertises over 6000 Vacancies in Africa a year

Funto is the Managing Director of FJA Jobs launched officially in Nigeria June 2007 in conjunction with Business Day. The publication has a readership of over 120,000 weekly.
